1. Information is power Watch, listen, and speak with purpose.
No need to speak just for the sake of speaking.
Always think very carefully about what you say.
2. Focus on your body language Your posture needs to be strong, shoulders back, chest out and head held high.
You also need to build a large frame.
Work on your back and shoulders specifically, to get that large masculine frame.
3. Fake it till you make it.
This is the mindset you need to have. “fake” confidence uses the same techniques as “real” confidence and therefore will have the same results.
You do not need to be confident to speak confidently.
As long as you learn the correct steps and study confident people, you can adapt to the same techniques they use. Doing this will eventually make you feel more confident.
4. Speak less
Those who give less and take more are more powerful, and that applies in communication as well.
People who have lots of social power use fewer words and more nonverbal gestures.
5. Practice martial arts
Start boxing. Take karate lessons. Take up MMA.
This makes you dangerous, increases your confidence and gives you the option to choose to be peaceful instead of forcing it upon you.
6. Take control
There will always be factors you have control over and factors you don’t.
Most people will spend time worrying over the things they have no control over. Do not do this.
7. Practice
There’s only so much you can learn about confidence and social situations.
Remember, the best way to learn is through experience.
