Designer Anyango Mpinga share the first looks of her 3D designed clothing as part of an Artist residency with Helsinki Fashion Week.
“As part of the @helsinkifashionweekofficial residency and for the first time ever, I explored the world of 3D fashion, with clothes stitched digitally by @balm.labs. For each of the outfits, the garment patterns were drafted traditionally and then digitised (thank you @plussamplesuk). It’s been amazing to explore the new world of digital fashion, creating looks without wasting material resources. It was also important for me to use Avatars that represent diversity and size inclusivity across the board. Here’s a preview of the Digital Nomads Collection! This look features my original prints inspired by Lamu Architecture!”
